Youth & Children

We love children and youth at Smithville FCC! We have a staff person to work with both children and youth in ways that develop friendships as they develop their faith.

Youth activites are usually on Sunday afternoons or evnings. Sometimes they meet at the church to make their own pizzas, and sometimes they go on field trips or play games. Whatever they do, they have fun together. Use the interest form below to get more information on our youth program.

  • Worship Service: Children are welcome to stay and be a part of worship. We have red activity bags with age-appropriate materials in them for children, available at any time throughout every worship service.

  • Children’s Church: Children’s Church offers age-appropriate worship, Bible lessons, and faith-building activities for children from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Our focus is on discipleship to help children develop a personal relationship with God. Children’s Church takes place during our regular Sunday worship service, with children dismissed during the welcome to go to go to the upstairs children’s room.

  • Nursery: Our Nursery and Family Loft area is open for use for families with infants and small children. We provide nursery volunteer staff for infant – preschool aged children upon request.

Throughout the year, we have  family activities for children and young families outside Sunday mornings, including: Vacation Bible School, Movie Nights, Youth Group & Family Field Trips, Third Sunday Family Potluck fellowship meals, our Easter Egg Hunt, and our annual Advent and Christmas Programs.
